Are you doing the career that was meant for you?

We all have a dream career that was meant for us. The pathway we travel upon for the purpose of reaching that destination is different for each person. Some go straight from high school to university to the career of choice, making it all seem so easy. Others get there, but in time. Sometimes it starts by working a 9 to 5 job which is perhaps not “first choice” while taking daily steps to build the career we were actually meant to thrive in. In other words, you work on the side, little by little, until you are empowered to leave your job to start your career.

I have to say a dream career means something different to everyone. For me it is inspiring others through my books, radio show, podcast, seminars, courses and through my motivational speaking events. This allows me to share my story of overcoming my testing times, how I am celebrating my life now and also sharing how great God is. My goal one day is to speak full-time. If you’re thinking about doing your dream career it may take a while; do not get discouraged. Sometimes we have to invest in ourselves, be patient, and not give up.

This week on my show at KKLA I had the opportunity to interview Nick Marks, a piano teacher and a musician. He is a great example of someone who is creating and doing the career that he was meant to do. Nick not only is in the process of developing as a recording artist, but he also takes the time to foster musical talent in local youth.

Please tune in and listen to my interview with Nick Marks this Saturday, May 1st, at 4:30 PM on 99.5 KKLA. “You Are Being Tested, Do Not Worry” is aired every Saturday at 4:30 PM and the program is broadcast on, KKLA App, iHeart Radio,,, and Alexa Smart Speaker. Speaker and Show Podcast:
