How to make the most out of the rest of 2020

I think a lot of us can agree that 2020 has brought us challenges. Some of us are now working from home and some of us have lost our jobs. All of us been affected during COVID-19 this year.

What are some ways we can all finish 2020 on a positive note?

We can start by focusing on what we can do to end the year in a great way. That could mean finding a new job for some of us, having more time with our family members, or getting in shape. And, try your best not to stress too much over the negative things which lie beyond your control.

The advice I can offer anyone who wants to reflect on what they have done in 2020 is find some of the things that you are grateful for from 2020; considering the circumstances, this might be a little bit of a stretch! But, there is always something to be grateful for. I’m grateful for my good health and my family. Some things we can all be grateful for is just knowing that we have today to live our life, that is every reason to be grateful for, just being alive is a great reason.

A great example of this took place recently when I had a chance to interview a lovely lady for my show on KKLA, “You Are Being Tested, Do Not Worry” this week. Her name is Tanya Memme, and she is the host of the Emmy winning TV show “Sell This House” which successfully aired for years. At some point, the show was canceled, which happens frequently in the TV industry. Tanya had to learn to be patient and she had to learn to trust and not give up. And now? The show made a comeback this September! I interviewed her about her journey and one big takeaway for me was that patience and gratitude are everything.

Please listen to my follow up interview with Tanya Memme this Saturday, Nov 7, at 4:30 PM on 99.5 KKLA. “You Are Being Tested, Do Not Worry” is aired every Saturday at 4:30 PM and the program is broadcast on, KKLA App, iHeart Radio,,, and Alexa Smart Speaker. Yes, great things do come to those that wait, you will know when you listen to Tanya Memme’s amazing TV show “Sell This House”.

Make it a great day and week.
