If you are here with us on this beautiful planet you’ve been tested. Covid-19, loss of a job, divorce, political instability, death, the list is exhaustive. Since some of these things happened to us without our consent we have to learn to be resilient. Tragedy happens, but then what? Do we keep fighting during tests and come out of it stronger or do we just give up?
My testing times was nine years ago when I was fighting cancer. I questioned God when I was going through my testing time. I asked God, “Why me?” And nine years later I stand here and say, “Why not me?” My testing time made me the person I am today. It made me even more kind and loving. Through my testing time I found my purpose in this life; I know now that my goal in life is to inspire others to have faith and live their best lives every day.
Talking about testing times, I did an interview Jillian Smith, a lovely lady who has lupus. When you put things into perspective, sometimes the worst time in your life is actually not as bad as it could be. For example, no one wants a divorce and the feelings of going through one can be devastating. But we can recover, sometimes in less than a year.
But Jillian’s disease is ongoing, and she is being tested every day of her life. She is not able to cook for herself. But she hasn’t given in. Instead, she is such a happy person! Because of this, I had to ask her to be on my radio show at KKLA “You Are Being Tested, Do Not Worry.” She finds ways to stay happy, instead of being down on life, and she is always looking for ways to troubleshoot the difficulties that come with illness.
Listen to my interview with Jillian Smith, her inspirational story airs this Saturday, April 24, 2021, at 4:30 PM on 99.5 FM KKLA. “You Are Being Tested, Do Not Worry” is aired every Saturday at 4:30 PM and the program is broadcast on KKLA.com, KKLA App, iHeart Radio, Tuneineradio.com, Christianradio.com, and Alexa Smart Speaker. Speaker.
Make it a great day and week.
