The best way for us to make use of our time is to have a daily plan or to do a list for the day. We all know planning ahead of time can really help us to be more organized and to have everything done on time.
I’m a big believer in writing things down as a means of organizing my goals. Write down all the things that need to be done for that day and this will help us stay on track.
Some of the things we can use to manage our daily plans is management software to keep track of your tasks. I use google calendar software to keep me on track of my tasks and to remind me of all the things I need to do for the day. I like to use my calendar on my iPhone for meetings and for reminder of my tasks. Even better, coordinate all of your calendars for consistency and ensure that you check the calendar in the morning. My recommendation when planning is to use the calendar reminder for 30 minutes before the task is due.
Finally, a keyway to maintain organization is reviewing the previous day’s calendar and taking notes. Did you miss one or two items from the previous day? That’s nothing to feel guilty about-IF you take due diligence and address those missing things today. As for taking notes, I find it helpful to jot down some of the questions I might have prior to a meeting so that I won’t forget them. If you do this, you’ll find that you’re more able to focus on the content of the meeting and can refer back to those questions, asking them at the right moment, without having to worry about forgetting them.
Make it a great day and week.
